Welcome to our school! We are located in the northeastern part of Kentucky, along the Ohio river. Our school was founded two years before the Great Depression, in 1927. However, the old school was replaced in 1985 with a new building, that was built around the old gymnasium. We currently have about 290 students enrolled in grades K-6.
One of the unique things about our school is our special nature trail. The Acorn Trail is located in the woods behind the school and is about a half mile long. It contains a small, shallow pond where fish and frogs can be found. Classes can hike the trail to observe plant and animal life, or perform science experiments! And sometimes, it's just a nice place to take a walk.
Take a look at our school's playground! We also have two basketball courts and eight swings.
